James Hooper

James Hooper has more than 20 years experience in the IT industry, in both internal and customer facing roles. He specialises in cloud computing and has spent 8+ years working with organisations to enable them to embrace digital technologies. He currently leads a team of Customer Engineers in the Manufacturing and Industrial vertical at Google Cloud, with a specific focus on Energy and Utilities. James is a passionate evangelist of cloud as an enabler for change and is always keen to share his love of cloud computing with all audiences.

Outside of work he is a father of 3, an amateur musician and would much rather travel to the mountains with his snowboard than spend time lying on a beach.
