David Faichnie

David Faichnie has worked with TechnipFMC for the past 14 years. Initially David was involved in R&D activities focused on subsea control systems and instrumentation, including 2 years in Houston in the North American Technology Center. David moved across to the Surface business in 2014 where he continued R&D activities for surface controls and instrumentation solutions. Today David is part of the team who manage the portfolio of digital, controls & automation solutions for Surface Technologies in TechnipFMC and continues to help develop new solutions to address customer issues. Previously David has held positions with Scalar Technologies and Nortel Networks. David holds a BEng(hons) degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering and a Doctor of Engineering (EngD) in optical metrology.
