Position: Strategy, Marketing & Sustainability Manager, Oil & Gas, Shell
Karl Outen is the Strategy, Marketing & Sustainability Manager for Oil & Gas Sector Decarbonisation at Shell. In this role, he is responsible for developing and executing the strategy to bring together capabilities from across Shell to help customers spanning the Oil & Gas value chain to decarbonise. In his 10 years with Shell, he has worked primarily in Operational front-line leadership roles at Upstream & LNG facilities across Scotland, Korea and both coasts of Australia (including offshore) and held a number of roles in defining and delivering strategy. Karl is a Chartered Engineer with a Masters in Engineering from Oxford University and an MBA from INSEAD.
