Tim Manandhar

Tim Manandhar is the Lead Smart Grid Technology Engineer at UK Power Networks (UKPN). Tim is responsible for the strategy, standards and design of the technologies for UK Power Networks’ smart grid, flexibility markets and Distribution System Operator capabilities. Tim has over 19 years’ experience in the industry working in variety of areas such as Power systems, SCADA systems, Telecommunications and Active Network Management systems. He has held a number of design authority roles in smart grid projects such as the multi-award winning Flexible Plug and Play project; the flagship innovation project Power Potential; and business rollout of the Distributed Energy Management Systems (DERMS).
