Mohd Zul Yusri B Mohd Akhir

He has 15 years working experience in Oil and Gas industry covering engineering, maintenance, business transformation which include change management for Upstream Business in Malaysia. He started his career in PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB) Sarawak Operations for 14 years, in 2021 he has been transferred to PCSB Integration Value Assurance (IVA) base in Kuala Lumpur. Currently he is the Head of Remote Operation Diagnostics covering all offshore platforms in Malaysia under PCSB a.k.a Carigali Operating Blocks (COB). He begins his career as Junior Instrumentation & Control engineer and held various roles such as Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Manager, Manager E&I, Manager Maintenance Instrumentation & Control, Technical Professional Instrumentation & Control and Technical Authority 1 Instrumentation & Control for Upstream Business.   

He holds a degree in Electrical & Electronic (Specialized in Instrumentation & Control) under PETRONAS’s scholarship program and Master in Business administration (Specialized in Energy Management) under PETRONAS’s staff development program from University Technology of PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia.
