Lin Whitworth

Lin Whitworth is Datum360’s Director of Client Services.

His experience includes working extensively in oil and gas projects. His career has transitioned from Application Development, Project Services Management and then onto Information Management.

Lin has also been involved with the Capital Facilities Information Handover Specification project (CFIHOS) since its inception. This IOGP project aims to make information handover quicker, easier and safer for operators, contractors, equipment manufacturers and suppliers by using standardised specifications and change the way that projects and facilities manage their data.

Lin’s background is Engineering, he works with a project pragmatically to help them capture their requirements. He was practicing Information Management on Projects before the discipline was recognised and as such has experienced the challanges that can arise whilst rolling out solutions.
