Christopher Banks

Chris Banks provides consultancy on Sustainable Energy Projects. A geoscientist by background, he worked conventional oil and gas, tar sands and shale gas projects around the world both for regulators and industry. After an ethical epiphany in 2016,  he pursued a MSc in Sustainable Energy Solutions and now works in development of “new” energy projects. His focus is on blue/green hydrogen value chain development in Scotland as part of the Net Zero Technology Centre consortium. He also leads the SLB Sustainability Community, which is an employee grass roots organisation to help advocate for action on climate, social and nature within corporations
